National Building MuseumThe National Building Museum, housed in the historic Pension Building, presents exhibits, lectures, films, family programs and workshops on all aspects of architecture, building and historic preservation. Permanent Washington: Symbol and City exhibit chronicles the building of the nation's capital. Open: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.- 4 p.m., Sunday noon - 4 p.m. Public tours daily starting at 12:30 p.m. Group tours by appointment.   Closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
